To my brothers,

“Be excellent to each other. And party on dudes.”

I want you all to know that it’s been real. I never thought that my college career would be filled with such brotherhood and family. If I had the chance for another try at all this, I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s made me everything that I am inside. It’s been glorious.

I ask of you to continue being these things:

A Gentleman - Prove to the world that chivalry is not dead. I’ve seen it in all of you, and I know it exists. The world may not know it, so show everyone that it does.

A Man of Honor and Courage - Always love and dare to love. Be loved. Take that love and cherish it; it’s really all that’s needed in the world. Do not be afraid to trust others. Go out and protect the ideals of loyalty and brotherhood.

A Man of Zeal Yet Humble - Be enthusiastic. Why? Because we are all perfect in someone’s eyes. Though bear in mind that we are also imperfect. Use this knowledge to better one’s self, always.

An Intelligent Man - Never stop learning. We are continually growing as educated individuals and as human beings. If our learning comes to an end, so does our growth, and subsequently, so does our life. Be smart enough to keep going.

A Man of Truth - Never lie, to anyone, or yourself. Never cheat, as it is a lie to both yourself and others. Never betray anyone who has trusted you. Never betray anyone whose trust you have yet to earn. Be honest, be sincere, be genuine.

One Who Tempers Action with Wisdom - Think before you act. You are not the only one that will pay the consequences of your actions. Be wise as to what you do with this power to affect yourself and others.

One Who Walks in the Light of God - If nothing else, follow the One who is perfect—the One who makes no mistakes. Live life with His grace and serenity and you will become a god. You will be blessed with more than you can ever imagine.
